Adopting an older dog is completely different than adopting a puppy. Older dogs take a lot more time adjusting and fitting into your home and lifestyle. A lot of patients and love will go a long way on helping your dog adjust to his or her new environment. All retiring dogs are up to date on shots and vet exams. They will come either spayed or neutered along with having a dental cleaning if needed before leaving my home . Every dog in my care has been OFA health tested, as well as some of the dogs being health tested through Embark. Our dogs are pee pad trained for in side as well as going out side to the bathroom. Olive will be retiring after her next litter. She is due to come into heat soon. I will be setting up her spay ahead of time . Will post her spay date and go home date after I have a confirmed pregnancy . If interested please submit an application.
If you are looking for a watch dog look no further lol . Her favorite spot is sitting on the back of the couch looking outside. Olive will alert you when every cat, dog or human walks by. She loves curling up next to me and preferably under a blanket with her head sticking out so she does not miss anything hahah . She will absolutely be your best friend and companion for life. She is a very happy dog . Olive will do best in a home with no little kids or cats . She is around my granddaughters who are 2 and 4 but she can be nippy. We have a lot of cats in the neighborhood and she barks at them. She gets along great with all my adult dogs and all the puppies from everyone’s litters . She is an excellent mommy to her puppies and loves everyone else’s puppies as well.
