Puppy scammers are everywhere! Please do lots of research on the person and business before ever handing over money. 

1) Do they have a website? If so things you can look for : 

  A) look on Puppies available page . How are the advertising? AKC puppies are not cheap ! Are they being offered at a low price 399.00 or even 800.00 . Scammers most always price puppies at low prices. 

 B) look closely at puppy pictures. Are they duplicating the same pictures but putting different names ? You can do a google search on the image. Right mouse click on the image. Hit select and google the image. 

 C) look through the reviews page . Closely look at the names and pictures. Is John Doe one of them? John Doe is a made up name in the US . Are they duplicating pictures but different names ? 

D) Are they advertising to ship puppy for free or is it included in that cheap price ? No legit Breeder will ever ship a puppy for free ! 

If you search in the search engine and it comes up at the top does not mean it’s legit. Their are all kinds of things you can do to make it come to the top . Just keep that in mind !

I understand not everyone has a website. This does not mean they are scammers. Some breeders only have Facebook and or Instagram. I would recommend FaceTime. Scammers don’t FaceTime. 

One of the most important things you can do is FaceTime. Puppy scammers are not going to FaceTime you . On FaceTime you can actually see the breeder, her puppies and even adult dogs along with her legit house.
