After you accepted my application and I found my little Dottie and Maddie you kept me apprised every step of the way on how they were developing. Our entire experience with P-Gems has been truly amazing, worth every cent! Due to a planned vacation, we took a few months to make our decision, which worked in our favor as we kept falling in love with different puppies in various ways. We even created a list of the top 5 physical features we desired, but that was set aside when Treasa took us on an emotional journey through Facebook, Instagram, P-Gems website, past and upcoming parents. The pictures and videos provided by P-Gems were incredible, and we watched them hundreds of times. The weekly updates, starting after we made our choice, made it a truly remarkable experience.

The only thing I completely ignored was the description of the pups' personalities, thinking it wasn't important. I couldn't have been more wrong. From the moment Treasa put Charlie in my arms until now, he has been exactly as she described on the website and in the weekly updates. Charlie reminds me of a very happy, playful, bunny! Then I held Rocky, who melted against my chest and stayed there during the two-hour drive home. Rocky reminds me of a chill, old soul, and his long baby hair is intoxicating to touch we can't find words to properly describe how it feels just truly indescribable. Both of them are amazing in their own right! When we looked at pictures of adult Chi's we liked and compared them to their baby pics, we were shocked to find that some of the puppies we initially passed up grew up to look like the adult Chi's we desired! 
Another thing we love is the soft momma's blanket that comes home with them, smelling of their mom. As I write this, they are sleeping with them, and I often catch them burying their noses into it. Our boys have brought so much joy and love into our home. I can't imagine having only one because they bring so much joy to each other. 

Knowing that we have a boat, I was all in when it came to the boys liking water and getting wet. I bought a 10$ soft tub liner from Amazon, filled our tub with warm water just above their bellies. With a swimsuit I jumped in with them and included a massage; they love it. During their first boat ride, they have no problem getting dunked in the river when they show signs of getting warm. Our boys also enjoy bike rides to the fullest. 
From the very beginning of discovering Precious Gems to this day, our experience has been life-changing in the most amazing ways. We enjoyed the months-long hunt for our forever furry family members, and we loved learning about them. The incredible payoff came when we finally got our boys. Thank you, Precious Gems, for our adored boys; they bring joy to a whole new level!

After our senior Chihuahua passed, I reached out to Treasa thinking we may be ready in a year..well, the universe had other plans. 2.5 weeks after I reached out, I was at the vet getting ready to hear that we needed to help our senior kitty pass, she sent me pics of 3 little boys. We chose Pepe. He has helped heal our broken hearts. So much communication, more pictures and video than I can count, and the smoothest transition home! It was like he knew he belonged to us! Five stars aren’t enough to give Treasa at Precious Gems AKC Chihuauas.  Her response times and communication are exceptional.  From the first time we reached out to her about getting an application until delivery of our Sweet Mila, she has been amazing.  She kept us in the loop as the soon-to-be moms were approaching their due dates, and we got pictures of the litters soon after they were born.  Once we had decided that Mila was the right puppy for our family, Treasa sent us photos and videos weekly so we could watch her grow. Treasa would answer any questions that we had with a prompt response, and it’s obvious she is educated in the proper care of this breed.  Treasa supplied us with educational materials, goodies, food, and other fun things for our new baby, and it was obvious that Mila had already been well socialized and well loved prior to coming home to us.  We would highly recommend Precious Gems to anyone who is looking for a chihuahua puppy.  We are BEYOND happy with our little Mila!!

Juan Carlos (Rhodie) is our second puppy from Precious Gems. We knew, when we got Dolly last November (2023), that we were going to get her a companion. I saw there were supposed to be new puppies after the New Year, so I kept an eye on Treasa’s website. We saw Rhodie, and just had to inquire about him. Waiting the eight weeks to get him seemed like forever! Receiving pictures and video, each week, was one of the only things I looked forward to. As soon as we picked him up, my heart was his. He is the fluffiest little good boy nugget! He has a different personality than Dolly, but they go together like PB&J. And, let’s be real, the reason we love Chihuahuas is their different, amazing personalities! He (like she did) has fit into our family like another puzzle piece. He’s my big tiny baby. He’s happy, sometimes shy, but growing in his own independence every day, and so affectionate. Whereas, as long as you are in the same room with Dolly, she’s Miss Independent. These two dogs are the most well-adjusted & sweetest dogs I have ever been around. Treasa does a fantastic job with her dogs and puppies. Don’t think twice about getting yourself a Precious Gem. If you want a Chihuahua, this the place!
