He is not neutered and it will state in his contract that he will be neutered within 5 months of receiving him . This gives him time to settle in and I understand that sometimes it takes a couple of months after making the appointment with your Vet to get them in.
He has been DNA health tested through Embark and is clear from over 267 genetic health conditions. He will come with his paperwork from Embark.
Sheldon’s had his heart and knees recently checked out by my licensed vet. His heart sounds great . He was diagnosed with grade 2 Patellar luxation in his right knee. He runs , plays and is a happy boy . It is not bothering him but I can’t guarantee that sometime in the future that it will and require him to have surgery later in life . I have his paperwork from my vet for his cardiac and Patella that will also be in his go home folder.
Sheldon wears a belly band while inside the hose she he does not mark . He actually does really good and most of the time it’s not wet. He does not wear one at night when in his crate. He can be trained to not wear one but it will take time, patience and lots of treats. He is crate trained and only sleeps in it at night . During the day he has free rein of the house. He gets along great with all the dogs, runs and loves playing. He is a very friendly, happy and playful boy who loves being outside. He will be unsure and nervous when first meeting him and take some time settling in to his new home and routine . I call him my little goof ball because he acts like one lol . He has his happy tongue out alot and this goofy bounce when playing and with his ears down it just fits hahah . He has not been raised around cats so I do not know how he would do with them. He does good with my granddaughters age 3 and 5 but will occasionally bark if they start running around. I personally would like to see him go to a family with no young children.
If you think Sheldon would be a good fit for your family, please submit an application so we can set up a time to chat on the phone.
Thank you
